Upholstery Worx by Jason Pty.Ltd. is a manufacturing company, based in Brisbane, producing high quality, hand made furniture for the bespoke market. Conceived by the current company director, Jason Roberts, out of a need for better product and service and originally established as “Jason’s Upholstery Worx” in 1995, we converted to our current name in 2007 as part of an expansion process involving more than just upholstery work. After 20 yrs our current repertoire envelops upholstery, Solid timber, timber veneer, Furniture design and complete furniture packages. Our one off pieces have been commissioned for many luxurious applications throughout Australia and over seas as well as commercial applications in retail and hospitality.

Our Quality:
All our furniture is hand made the traditional way, with the emphasis on quality and customer satisfaction. Our internal frames and show timbers are manufactured from solid, seasoned hardwood, (farm grown for environmental peace of mind), from select Australian and overseas hard wood. All joints are glued and mechanically fixed with select structural joints doweled, mortised and tennoned or dovetailed depending on application. Foam fill is all high quality, fire retardant and loose fill is Feather, down or polyester mix depending on the application. Our seat bases are supported by either a commercial elastic web or solid steel coil springs with the option of a traditional sprung edge and our timber polish finishes include lacquer, oil, wax or 2 pak and can be finished in any gloss level and any colour and all our work is guaranteed. So if you are looking for a one off, unique piece of furniture or a totally unique furniture package we can assist you in achieving your furniture dream.

Our team:
All Upholstery Worx by Jason staff are trained in house to maximise the quality of the finished product. All tradesmen undertake a rigorous apprenticeship for a minimum of 4 years covering both construction and finishing techniques for modern and traditional pieces.
